Magnetic thickness gauge AUTO-LAK-TEST BIT 3003 - easy to use and does not require electrical power. Works under any conditions and allows you to detect defects in the car coating that are invisible to the eye.

BIT3003 - a budget model with high quality. BIT3003 is not sensitive to dirt on the car and conveniently measures on uneven surfaces.

Principle of operation:

Remove the protective cap, apply the thickness gauge with the magnetic side to the surface to be measured. Then gradually move the device away from the car, observing when it detaches. This will show the thickness of the coating.

The thickness gauge has a color scale to determine the thickness of the coating:

• blue - from 0 to 100 microns
• green - from 101 to 200 microns (factory paint)
• yellow - from 201 to 300 microns (second layer of paint)
• red - from 301 to 500 microns (presence of putty)
• black - from 501 to 900 microns (putty thickness about 0.5mm)
